South Florida Patients Ask

Is New Sunrise Mental Health really the closest NeuroStar TMS clinic to South Florida?

For most South Florida communities — including Fort Lauderdale, Delray Beach, West Palm Beach, Boynton Beach, and Miami — yes. Our Boca Raton location at 950 Peninsula Corporate Circle, Suite 1011 puts us within a reasonable drive of the entire tri-county area. We encourage patients to compare and verify, but most find us to be the most accessible certified NeuroStar provider in the region.

Do I have to come in every day for TMS treatment?

A standard NeuroStar TMS course involves five sessions per week over 7 to 9 weeks. Many South Florida patients build their daily appointment into their morning or afternoon routine. Sessions are 19 to 37 minutes and there is zero recovery time — so the total time investment per day including the drive is manageable for most patients.

What do I need to bring to my first appointment?

Bring your insurance card, a photo ID, and any relevant medical records or documentation of prior antidepressant treatment if you have them available. Our team will walk you through everything else at the appointment. No special preparation is required.

Can I get TMS therapy if I am already working with a psychiatrist in my city?

Absolutely. Many of our patients continue working with their existing psychiatrist or therapist in Fort Lauderdale, Miami, West Palm Beach, or elsewhere while receiving TMS treatment at our Boca Raton clinic. We are happy to coordinate with your existing care team if helpful.
